The Flyer Holiday Food Drive Fundraiser returns!

Now that the New York City Marathon is in the rear view mirror, it’s time to look ahead to the holiday season. For the eighteenth year in a row, the Flyers are hosting a virtual food drive to raise $4000 for City Harvest, New York’s first and largest food rescue organization.

As we’re all aware, we’re currently living in a time of widespread job loss and greatly increased costs for daily essentials. While those circumstances alone are enough to trigger an increase in need for food bank resources, the current issues surrounding SNAP benefit availability are causing demand to skyrocket. 1.8 million of our fellow New Yorkers are impacted by the federal shutdown, and the generosity our club has shown over the past seventeen years is needed now more than ever.
