EVERYBODY IN!
YES! THIS IS THE WINTER TRAINING PROGRAM, THE training program for Winter. So whether you have a big race, a small race, or NO race at ALL, you BELONG here! We will move you and your running forward. Here's how:
- 16-wk CUSTOM training plan
- 4 months of training + 18 group workouts
- 2 weekend organized runs
- Dedicated coaching from Amy Sitar + Jim Purvis
- Program cost: $315
- Program kicks off Saturday morning, January 4th at Finish Line Physical Therapy [more details to come]
Kick off 2025 with a PLAN. The Winter Training Program (WTP) will set you on a path to attain whatever goal(s) you have and it will keep you motivated and honest through the shortest days of the year.
WHEN: GROUP WORKOUTS: WEDNESDAYS AT 6:30 PM from JANUARY 8 - APRIL 23
WHERE: MEET UP: where it's WARM! Inside the Shops at Columbus Circle
WHO: New York Flyers AND outsiders (they won't be for long 🙂 )
Like we said, no race is necessary, but we're putting a crew together to run the Newport Half or Full Marathon Saturday, April 19th. Anyone who's interested can make a trip of it and cheer the Boston Marathon Monday, April 21st too! Even closer to home: there's the Brooklyn or the Jersey City Half or Full Marathon and/OR, as we said, you can work with your coach to target smaller local races, improve your times at shorter distances, or come out from the camaraderie and positive vibes. Moving your body with a group, especially through the doldrums of winter, will fortify you for whatever 2025 throws your way. Stronger together!

As you complete your registration you will fill out an athlete survey. Since your training calendar will be customized based on the information you enter, be as detailed as you can! For example, if you are registered for ANY races INCLUDING NYRR or NYR RUNS races between January and May, list 'em all! You'll also be asked about your availability, past training, and future goals (if any). Please include any and all information that will help ME create a calendar that fits your life.
After you submit your ATHLETE PROFILE we will be connected on the VDot 02 app and I can *begin to create* your calendar. The sooner and more thoroughly you complete your athlete profile, the sooner I can get to work getting YOU ready to have a strong and social 2025 so...
