Long Training Run #2June 27th – Go North, Go South ... Riverside Park RunThis run takes you up along the Hudson River in Riverside Park. There will be three runs, 7 miler, 8 miler, and 9 miler. Can be extended to 10 and up. All paces are welcome. Meet at 59th and the running path area on the Hudson Riverfront. Start time is 8:30am. We will go northbound to 156th Street and then turn around and head south. The northbound leg is approximately five miles. I will announce to the group when we reach mile 7, mile 8, and mile 9 going southbound. It is approximately 20 blocks per mile. The weather is supposed to be great so bring your fluids if you need extra beyond the water stops already on the route. For those who may want to go farther than 9 miles I will be continuing southbound to Battery Park, another 5 miles. You are welcome to join me for all or part of the distance.
